Splash into Summer!

From modern to traditional...there's nothing like a "cool" pool to jump start the summer season. Here are a few that make us want to dive right in...

After a long, cold winter, we could all use a few lazy days by the pool to lift our spirits. Below is mine, and where you'll find me most afternoons.

In honor of the season, check out "Pools," a hardcover book, which looks great on the coffee table and makes a great gift. Originally $75, now $55. Contact sales@tonichome.com to purchase.

We are thrilled to share photos from one of our all time favorite interior designers, Amanda Nisbet. Her style is top-of-the-line chic, and right up our alley. Less is More

Sometimes all it takes is one new item to freshen up your surroundings. Much like shopping for your wardrobe and updating your look with a new pair of shoes or belt, the same holds true for your home. One new rug, lamp or chair can make all the difference when it comes to keeping things current. And in economic times like these, that's good news for all of us.

Luckily our favorite design aesthetic is clean and simple; here are some examples to get you thinking...

Zebra rug ties it all together. These Dining chairs small on budget, big on style. Desk and chair in a simple white bedroom with touches of light blue. Love it!

All white kitchen with touches of green light fixtures make it fresh!

Big Time Inspiration

Check out this issue of Veranda if you want to be inspired. I'm a big fan of 60's modern homes and vow one day to actually live in one. But this one featured in Veranda really caught my eye. For one thing is gorgeous and second, it's located in Tampa, Florida. In fact, I used to jog by it every morning (when I lived there), and marvel at the construction; it was fun to watch a new element of the home go up everyday. That was three years ago...

Now, we can thank Veranda Magazine for taking us inside. I always wondered what became of my dream home. What's not to love, right? I want to thank my friend Jennifer Goldberg for reminding me of the article. Now we just have to recreate the look in Cleveland, Ohio. Seriously, anyone local have ideas?
