Coral design

The life of the coral continues to inspire the design world. What is it about the spiky tendrils that keep us focused on where they show up?

It's popular natural and varied form spring to life in chic home decor.
Vibrant in color, are the Red Coral Guest Towels from Dermond Peterson. The crisp and strong hue of the linen hand towel is luxurious in feel.
Also from Dermond Peterson, we love the Black Coral Pillow. Continuing with the sealife feel, these square throw pillows make a statement.

Best for last - The natural Malaya Table Lamp from Arteriors Home. Soft shades of silver and grey zinc suit any room that wants organic and glam at the same time.

Pink Flowers are everywhere we look

Pink Blossoms are all the rage right now. Seems like everywhere we turn, these darling pink and white flowers of all shapes and sizes are appearing.
Our first favorite is the "Pink Apple Blossoms" fine art photography by WHITEMOST. The duo Shirley White and Mark Most create distinct styles with their classic imagery. Shown above, at the Tonic Home store, is a chic piece of wall art that would bring a touch of color to any room.
Take a look at this Pink Blossom Cake we found over at Decor8 blog. Isn't it adorable? The simplicity of the design feels fresh and modern. Our very own Paxton Glass Vases make ideal containers for soft florals. Wouldn't they be pretty table centerpieces at a wedding reception? While you can fill with any flowers, I think the pink ones are my favorite!
Oh yes - I can see them right in the center of these tables. Enjoy the summer - it goes by so fast!

iGoogle - New Artist Themes

Sometimes it's the little things that make your day, right? That is how I felt when I came across these new iGoogle themes yesterday. (Sidenote: "Theme" is the design at the top of your personalized iGoogle page.) The new "Artists Themes" are available for everyone and include some designs that are very stylish. No longer do we have to choose from flying squares and mundane space photos - how about a chic print from the likes of Tory Burch and Diane Von Furstenberg, just to name a few.
Simply click the photos that you like in this blog and you will be taken to the exact page for downloading. There you select the "add it now" button and you too can have these inspiring looks added to your very own iGoogle homepage.
These first three are all Tory Burch designs and will rotate at the top of your screen. It's so wonderful!!! Tory Burch is the founder and creator of these bold prints with bright colors.
Tonic Home owners are big fans of anything Tory Burch, so this was a gadget that had to be shared.
How about these from Diane Von Furstenberg?
Above and below are classics from the founder of a premier global luxury lifestyle brand.
The kelly green print is one of my all time favorites. Wait - I think I have this dress, no wonder I like it!
Above is from Australian designer Akira Isogawa. Internationally recognized for his contemporary designs, the red and black coloring caught my eye.
Artists will love this last one from Dale Chihuly. A revolutionary of the Studio Glass movement, this theme has lots of movement. Whatever your interest, check out all the designs and find one to "decorate" your computer. It just might make your day!

Wedding Season in Boca Grande Florida

Wedding Season is upon us, that is clear! With all the invitations coming in the mail, I had to get them all organized. Wouldn't want to overbook, right? Thank goodness for my metal wall photo holder. This creative accessory allows me to put all invites and photos up, so I can see them at once. Best of all, I don't have to worry about poking a hole in them with those pesky bulletin boards.
So with Wedding Season here in full force, it's hard not to think about, and look for, all of the lovely places around to get married. While on a trip to Boca Grande, Florida, my family came across the historic church, Our Lady of Mercy Parish. I just had to stop and do a little dreaming.
Built in 1950, this quaint building has no doubt been a memorable place for many bride and grooms on their special day. Families have gathered here and shared many wonderful moments.
Featuring a courtyard fountain, this setting is perfect for all of those pictures that will be taken. Wouldn't it also be a great place to get engaged?

Take the stroll down the aisle....for those of us in the design industry, we can't help but notice all of the architectural details.
Had to get a shot of the ceiling and look at the tiny round window at the top.
Love the "star-looking" lights in the back...and those doors! Wonder if I can get those for my house? Sisal carpets are even functional in a church.
Another shot of the doors from the outside. What an exit that would make! With all of this wedding talk, I should probably at least give you a few ideas for wedding presents. Here are a few of the most popular items that we have noticed being sent to the happy couple.
Lion Medallion Glasses - set of 4 glasses are a hit with the guys! 22K Metalic Gold on these glasses makes them a classic gift for anyone.
Crystal Petal Napkin Ring holders are always in style and add sparkle to the dining table. Everyone can pick their favorite color with an assorted set.
The Hobbs vase is a sure winner. Not certain what their "colors" are? Don't worry, this textured vase in white goes with everything, and will hold the beautiful flowers that the thoughtful groom is sure to bring home daily. I love this time of year!
