Tonic Home is delighted to announce that one of our favorite websites has relaunched with a new look and great products.
Always full of style and completely in the "know" about the next big thing, the girls at Ynot Shop have the latest out there to keep us looking fabulous. We couldn't help but take a minute and show you our top 5 picks.

1. The Bead Lady Designs - Shasta Earrings- love that these are gold and silver. Perfect when we want to wear both.2. Toss Designs Tennis Bag - being preppy and stylish on the courts is a must!
3. Alex and Ani expandable bracelet with good luck charm and tree of life charm. Who couldn't use a little luck these days, right?
4. Ben Amun Toggle Necklace - very chic!
5. Lastly, our absolute favorite - Orla Kiely Leaf print wallet. If you don't have one of these wallets, you are really missing out. Anything from Orla Kiely is fabulous really, but these zipper wallets keep all of those credit cards, receipts, and essentials from falling out. So there you have it - our top 5. Enjoy shopping at www.ynotshop.com.

Oliveira Textiles - Environmentally Friendly Fabrics

While perusing through my Traditional Home magazine, I came across this lovely company called Oliveira Textiles and had to share. The company was created by twin sisters Dawn Oliveira and Deborah Olson of Rhode Island who wanted to bring beautiful and healthful fabrics into the home. They use organically grown hemp and cotton fabrics printed with nontoxic dyes to create these high quality designs.
Their debut line is called The Ocean Collection and is inspired by the New England seacoast that they are surrounded by daily.
To bring this clean living into your home, check them out at www.oliveiratextiles.com

Annechovie and Artist Anne Harwell

If you are in the market for some really great artwork, you have to checkout Anne Harwell and her site on Etsy. She really has some interesting designs of home related products. Also, a must read is her blog, Annechovie. I enjoyed her post today about the painting she recently did of the Swann House in Atlanta.
Below are some of my personal favorites that are for sales on her Etsy site. The prices can't be beat - $20 each!
Anne has been featured in Domino Magazine and numerous other blogs out there. She also takes commissions for painting of your personal favorites. Contact her at anneharwell@hotmail.com for your own design.

Romantic Mirrors

I was just reading one of my favorite blogs the other day called Dose of Design.
They did an interesting article about "romantic mirrors" and their allure. I had to piggy-back on that article a bit, because I too really love these types of mirrors. You really can't just walk by them without stopping to admire their beauty. In fact, they are so interesting, you sometimes forget to actually look in the mirror!
Here are a few of my favorite at Tonic Home.

Venetian Mirror is always a classic.
Gold Venetian Mirror is modern with an edge.
Rococo in White looks like cake frosting!
Black Venetian is very dramatic.
Corner of the Hand Cut Glass Mirror shows the details of each specifically shaped mirror piece. The amount of detail in this mirror is breathtaking.
Reflection is a bonus with these pieces of wall art.

Modern Mums

I''ve recently come across a wonderful site that must be shared, called Modern Mums.

Love their tagline - "progressive parenting for modern moms". Now that speaks to me.

Take a look at "Deana's Dish" - a new blog on the site that gives tips on everything from where to get the "best chocolate chip cookies" to where to get the "best jeans", and most importantly, where to go for the "best in decorating". Her first blog lists none other than Tonic Home as a home furnishing source that puts a smile on her face. Thanks Deana! Such a complement.
So in the spirit of giving "modern mums" tips on easy decorating, here is my first suggestion. You must have one of these delightful metal pieces for your wall.
That's right - it is a wall photo/card holder for all of those birth announcements, wedding announcements, birthday party invites, photos of everyone's kids, you get the point....Stylish and surely beats the boring bulletin board, right! Only $25 - can't go wrong with that.

Bay Window Dilema

For those who have spent hours trying to find a unique design for that "bay window", this one certainly made me look twice. Isn't this fabulous! Love the design, love the fabric, love the black border snug to the ceiling. I've been working with a dear client and friend on her home and we've just had the discussion on what to do with her bay window. This certainly gives me inspiration!
I must thank my friend over at Girl Meets Glamour Blog for finding this picture. Kate always has great articles that I read quite regularly. She offers that her blog is an outlet for her "home decor addiction". We can certainly understand that one!
